Bailey is a sweet, scruffy lady who loves nothing more than spending time with her human. Her favourite place to be is by your side.
She has settled easily into a house with a larger female dog and 3 cats. She can be aggressive around food with other dogs, so it is definitely recommended to feed her separately. She otherwise gets along fine with other dogs as far as we’ve seen, although it may be advisable that she’s rehomed with a chilled male dog rather than a dominant female.
Bailey has been trained to sit on command and offer her paw. She does pull on the lead but she is learning to settle into the walk quickly - walking her with a halti will assist in managing her.
Bailey would suit a home where her humans are home more often than not, and where she is included in everyday life. She needs to be allowed inside and part of the pack - she wouldn’t cope being an ‘outside only’ dog who is left alone for long periods regularly. She gets easily frightened by loud noises, so a quiet and calm home would be best for her.
If you’re looking for a chilled out, loyal and cuddly companion to spend your days with, look no further than Bailey.
Bailey is $350 to adopt and comes desexed, microchipped, C5 vaccinated, HW tested (negative) and given flea/tick/worm prevention.
