About Daisy
Meet our pocket-size staffy with a smile that could win over any heart, say hello to Daisy!
We don't get a lot of land seals here at the shelter, so it's been a real treat to have Daisy here. Although she's a year old, Daisy is just BRIMMING with puppy energy. With non-stop zoomies and a tail that never stops wagging, Daisy's the type to race around the yard like a furry missile, then leap onto the couch like nothing happened- just in time for cuddles and kisses.
Daisy's favourite activities include parkouring off you and trying to climb up your body for an even closer snuggle. While she thinks it's the best way to get your attention, it may be too much for younger children, and we'd recommend her go home with a family of secondary school aged children or older due to her boisterous nature.
When it comes to her furry friends Daisy adores other dogs but is a bit socially awkward due to some lack of socialization early on in her life. Her way of saying hello is to jump on top of them and get right into playtime, so she'll need some practice when walking through the neighbourhood and not want to immediately say hi to every dog she sees. If you've got a dog at home who loves to rough and tumble she'd be thrilled to go home with them! Please bring along all resident dogs to the meet and greet.
However when it comes to other furry animal Daisy is still learning how to behave appropriately, so she will need to go to a home with no cats or pocket pets.
A treat enthusiast, Daisy could put Gordan Ramsey to shame with her passion for anything tasty to eat. She's been learning some basic manners and trying SO hard to be polite, but at her stage she thinks 'sit' means 'wiggle in one spot and stare lovingly at your hand full of treats.' We think with some extra patience she'll turn into an even better dog than she already is, a wiggly work-in-progress with a heart full of love and a belly full of snacks.
Confident, charismatic and endlessly cuddly. Adopt Daisy today!
