About Lexie (66234)
Meet Lexie - A Golden Girl with a Heart of Gold Lexie is a sweet and loving senior lady who came to GAWS after her beloved owner sadly passed away. Despite the changes in her life, Lexie has remained a ray of sunshine, bringing warmth and joy to everyone she meets. She absolutely adores people and would be happiest spending her days curled up on the couch beside her humans, soaking up all the love and affection she can get. Lexie is dog social and may enjoy the companionship of a calm, respectful male dog, but would be just as happy being the only dog in the home where she can be the centre of attention. She may be suited to a home with gentle, respectful children aged 10 and over. Lexie hasn't been tested with cats. As a senior girl, Lexie is managing some osteoarthritis. Her ongoing care includes regular Pentosan injections, joint supplements such as 4Cyte, and a weight management diet to keep pressure off her hips and joints. She may also need guidance adjusting to an indoor/outdoor lifestyle. Lexie is looking for a peaceful retirement home full of love, comfort, and companionship. If you think you can give this special lady the golden years she deserves, we'd love to hear from you.
