Say hello to Newey – a handsome little heart-stealer with big feelings and even bigger love to give.
At just 20 months old, Newey is a classic Frenchie: full of personality, snuggles, and a deep need to be your one and only.
Newey lives for affection. He wants to be curled up under your blanket, kissing your face, or nudging his way into your arms – especially when he senses you’re feeling low.
He’s loyal, deeply affectionate, and happiest when he knows he’s your number one.
But like many dogs with big hearts, Newey has a hard time sharing love. He currently lives with two other Frenchies and a small child, and unfortunately, it’s not the right environment for him.
He gets very jealous when others receive attention, which can lead to barking or even nipping to redirect it his way. The good news? If he’s not encouraged, he settles down quickly.
Because of this, Newey needs to be the only dog in the home and would do best in a calm household without young children. He’s not aggressive – just desperate for love and unsure how to cope when it’s shared.
Newey also has double hip dysplasia. Right now, it’s not slowing him down or causing pain, but it may require pain management or surgery later in life. Despite this, he loves his daily walks and absolutely thrives at the beach.
If you’re looking for a devoted, cuddly, and emotionally intuitive companion – someone to adore you as much as you adore him – Newley could be the perfect fit.
He’s not for every home, but for the right one, he’ll be the most loyal little mate you could ever ask for.
Newey is $350 to adopt and comes desexed, microchipped, C5 vaccinated and given flea, tick and worm preventatives.
