About Bridget
Bridget is a beautiful three month old female Blue Bar pigeon. She’s been through more than any young birds should - rescued after being attacked by a group of teenagers while she was unable to walk due to painful leg infection. Despite a tough start, this sweet girl has made an incredible recovery. Thanks to Vet care and lots of love,
Bridget has been treated for her leg infection, wormed and cleared of lice. She is now in great health, physically strong and ready to begin her next chapter in life. Understandably Bridget is still fearful of strangers and will need a kind patient home where she can build trust at her own pace. She would thrive with someone willing to take the time to let her settle in gently.
Medical notes
Previous bone infection

Thank you for considering adopting from FFPR!
Once you have expressed interest in a bird, we ask that you formally apply to adopt via our adoption form (this can be done ahead of time) https://forms.gle/cjP9TZJcKAgkze6A6
From there we will work with the adopter to find a bird that suits their lifestyle, and organise a meet and greet at our shelter. We offer continious support post-adoption and are always available for help or questions.
