About Mozart
Mozart here has quite a sad story, and sadly enough one seen quite a lot with pet pigeons.
Whilst we don't know much, we assume Mozart was purchased as a baby and hand-reared by people, with the intent of making a friendly hand-tame pigeon as a pet. Whilst this works at first, sometimes it can bring on a phenomenon called "imprinting", where the pigeon doesn't know he isn't a person, and thus has fully imprinted on people. When this happens, and the pigeon is a male, they can get quite feisty- not out of hate- but it rather pigeon language for "I am a strong and confident boy and I want to show it!" Unfortunately, people overlook this and assume it means "I hate you" as he is not displaying the typical "friendly" pigeon behaviours seen online.
This is what happened with Mozart, and instead of accepting that, his previous "owner" clipped his wings, gave him a horrible name which we won't repeat ever again, and kept him alone, confined to a cage in their bedroom for a year before finally being surrendered to the pound.
But Mozart isn't "mean" at all, he loves talking to you, and showing you how impressive he is, having playfights with your hands or flying to your shoulder to sit with you. Mozart would love someone that understands he isn't mean or annoying, and to just appreciate who he is.
