About Freedom
Freedom got his name from his similarity to the baldhead eagle - the symbol of freedom!
Freedom is a performing breed of pigeon called the greek donek, known for doing tricks in the sky. Unfortunately, in rescue doneks are also known to be the most prone to getting lost. When Freedom found himself free, he wandered into the house of someone, looking for help, where after, he was surrendered to our vet clinic.
Now, Freedom is looking for someone that won't lose and forget about him! Freedom is a gentle boy, and would prefer to be situated in an aviary with other pigeons or an indoor home with a lady pigeon to keep him company for the rest of his days!

Once you have expressed interest in a bird, we ask that you formally apply to adopt via our adoption form (this can be done ahead of time) https://forms.gle/cjP9TZJcKAgkze6A6
From there we will work with the adopter to find a bird that suits their lifestyle, and organise a meet and greet at our shelter. We offer continious support post-adoption and are always available for help or questions.
