Adoption information
About Bounty
Bounty is a turkish takla pigeon, presumably let out to "free-fly" and had an accident that resulted in him being far from home with a nasty break! Unfortunately, Bounty was held by someone for a week and he didn't receive veterinary care for his wing, which has now set in a position that impairs his flight.
This strong boy is still quite independent but doesn't mind coming up on your shoulder to talk to you about his day and eating treats from hand.
Bounty wouldn't mind being apart of an aviary or a beloved indoor companion. Being in an aviary with lots of other pigeons to talk to for a while, Bounty might take some time to get used to being an indoor companion resident again, but we have no doubt he will feel right at home in no time!
Having restricted flight, bounty might need some accommodations in his new home like ramps and low perches.
Medical notes
Previous wing break - watch out for arthritis as he ages.
