Hi there, my name is Latte. I’m a sweet little girl who loves being stroked, getting head scratches, being talked to and, receiving attention in general.

Nature
I’m generally calm and friendly, but because I’ve experienced some trauma in my short life, I can occasionally be triggered into mildly defensive behaviour. Nevertheless, I will sit on your lap, with some encouragement, and purr happily. Quiet words, treats and pats are the way to my heart.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I’m a bit scared of other cats; it’s probably best for me to be an only cat. It’s likely I’m scared of dogs too, except for the most mild-mannered ones. As for kids – older kids in their early teens and onwards are good, but not little ones.

Likes / Dislikes
I really like head rubs and scratches, and being talked to. I love sitting quietly being cuddled on your lap and I definitely love treats! What I don’t like is sudden movements or noises, or people poking their hands in at me if I’m hiding under something.

My PURR-fect home would be with adults and/or older kids who will give me lots of attention, talk quietly to me and stroke me. I am an indoor girl now because I feel much safer inside, where I don't get frightened by people or tempted chase birds. I’m happy to try an outdoor cat run though, as I like watching birds from a safe spot.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
