About Catniss
Meet Catniss! This beautiful girl was born in care and was the first to walk, first to use litter tray and first to eat solids. She is a confident, friendly little girl. She loves to play but also loves snuggle time with her humans. She is quite inquisitive and loves to follow her human carers around. Catniss enjoys to climbing, jumping in and out of boxes and chasing wand toys. Catniss has been in care with other resident cats and could adapt to a multi cat house hold and/or a friendly dog. Catniss is a sweet little girl, and she would make a perfect best friend! Catniss will need to remain indoors to keep her safe from outside dangers. Adoption details
- You contact us to obtain an adoption application and discuss the animal of interest.
Once the application is completed and returned it will be assessed for suitability. We will also ask for rental agreements or rates and photos of your home. Please also include photos of your fencing .
- A meet and greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and current dogs are arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a yard check, to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - we understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
- Payment of the adoption fee is made in one full payment. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records. Please note we do have contracts in place that must be signed.
- Once the 14 day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted to council and the adoption is officially finalised.
- For interstate adoptions- The adoptor must have a meet and greet with the animal they are adopting. We will not send an animal over without a meet. All transport costs including flights, will need to be paid in full by the adoptor.
- For cats, all adoptions take place at PETstock Tuggerah unless the profile states otherwise.
