Sweet Little Poss!

Nature
She’s soft as a whisper, shy like a breeze, she tiptoes in quiet, with grace and with ease.
Curious eyes, but careful and slow -
She’ll watch from the doorway before saying hello.

She purrs like a motor the moment she’s near, loves being close to the ones she holds dear.
She follows her Foster Mum from room to room, a gentle companion who brightens the gloom.

She bats her toy mouse, she chases small balls, with soft little leaps through sunlit halls.
And when joy bubbles up (as it often will), she does tiny zoomies - then snuggles still.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Poss currently lives with a family of four and she loves the company of everyone. While the kids in this family are older (tween/teen), Poss would be lovely with younger children too - as long as play and cuddles are always very gentle.

Poss had 4 siblings who have all been adopted, so she's used to other cats and would be fine with a cat buddy. That being said, we’ve also noticed that her sweet, curious personality has really bloomed since being in a “one-kitty” household. She thrives on the loving attention of her human buddies!

Poss would probably be okay with a quiet dog, but may feel overwhelmed by an active dog.

Likes / Dislikes
Poss is pretty easygoing, but she has a naturally timid temperament. New people, chaos, loud noises, and sudden moves are not her favourite things! She may hide under the couch until she is gently coaxed out.

Once Poss feels safe, she is an absolute delight. She is playful and likes to gently bat around a ball or toy mouse. She’s curious, so she will crawl into boxes or bags, and she likes to peek into drawers to see what’s inside. She also luuurves a warm place to sit - and currently loves to curl up near the fireplace.

A comfy seat on your legs or somewhere close to you is prime. While she doesn’t like to be forced to sit where she doesn’t want to, she doesn’t mind being picked up - especially if it means a little chat and a gentle snuggle close to you.

My PURR-fect home would be a quiet(ish) place where there is LOTS of gentle love and plenty of attention.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

If you would like to apply to adopt Poss please come meet her at PETstock Ellenbrook this Saturday from 10am until 2pm. She will be ready to go home with the first suitable family.
