About Lottie
🥰 LOTTIE IS A HEART DOG 🥰
For those of you who have loved and lost a dog that held the most special place in your heart, you will know what a “heart dog” is ❤️.
Around 2 weeks ago, our dearest long termer Lottie changed to a new foster home and her new Foster Carer has fallen absolutely head over heels in love with her 😍.
Lottie has become her new Foster Mums shadow and most loyal companion; sitting on her feet when she is doing dishes in the kitchen, hopping straight into her lap for snuggles on the couch every time she sits down, waiting for her on the bathroom mat when she showers and giving the most soulful cuddles that you could ever imagine 🥹
Lottie’s previous Foster Mum has done some amazing work with her training and it really shows with how well she walks on lead, how she sits and waits patiently for her food, how she sits, drops and rolls on demand and just her general want to please those humans she is closest to.
Lottie is a medium energy dog and will definitely need a family that will take her on a daily walk, play with her and include her in family outings. While she doesn’t bark, cry or suffer with huge separation anxiety, she has been known to destroy toys and a few other small things in the yard when left home for longer periods. A good walk beforehand and a kong filled with her favourite treats, seem to help keep these behaviours to a minimum. Ideally though, Lottie would love someone that worked from home or only worked part time, as her humans are her world! 🐶
Lottie is currently in foster care with a little chihuahua X and an elderly staffy X, both of which she is great with. She loves licking and loving on the Staffy and devotes herself to other dogs, like she does her humans. Although not essential, Lottie would love a doggy companion in her new home to do zoomies with and to give her love to. 🐕🦺🦮
For the most part, Lottie is also amazing and gentle with children. She never jumps up on her 10 year old human foster Brother and loves to gently snuggle and lick him. When she does get overly excited however, she can nip and become a bit mouthy, but thankfully responds well to the word “no” or when the child ignores her and leaves the situation. For this reason, Children above 8 would be best for Lottie or younger, calm children who are capable of instilling a few boundaries with her.
❗️Lottie is only a young girl of around 2.5 years of age. She is a Bull Arab X and weighs in at around 30kg. Lottie has had all of her vet work completed and is located in Buderim in the Sunshine Coast. Her adoption fee is $150. ❗️
