About Jilly
Meet Sweet Jilly 🩷
Jilly’s story is one of quiet resilience. Rescued from a struggling colony in Western Sydney, she soon faced another heartbreaking challenge—falling victim to a hoarding situation where fear and overcrowding left her completely shut down. Too overwhelmed to even use the litter tray, Jilly would hide away, barely able to function.
Everything changed when she came into our care.
Placed with a compassionate foster carer, Jilly was given the space and patience she needed to begin again. Slowly but surely, trust was built. Day by day, she emerged from her shell. Now, this gentle girl uses her litter tray confidently, enjoys tasty treats, and can often be found curled up on the lounge or at the end of your bed. And when she thinks no one’s watching? She plays—pouncing on toys or enjoying the company of her feline friends.
But now Jilly needs a new chapter.
Her foster carer’s circumstances have changed, and Jilly is in need of a new carer—or, even better, a forever home.
Jilly thrives in a calm, quiet environment. She gets along well with other cats but will need a home without dogs or small children. What she needs most is someone patient and kind, who will give her the time and space to adjust, and who understands that moving may cause her to take a few steps back before moving forward again.
With love, stability, and gentle encouragement, Jilly will continue to blossom.
If you’re interested in meeting Jilly, please get in touch to arrange a meet & greet—we’d love to introduce you.
Medical notes
Jilly had a full hysterectomy due to cysts on her ovaries but this doesn’t have an effect on her ongoing health.
