About Merlin
Merlin is an inquisitive and gentle soul who has a lovely balance of affection and independence. He enjoys being in your space and will happily follow you from room to room, but he also values his solo time and is very comfortable doing his own thing. He’s much more of a “near you” cat than a lap cat — always close by, quietly keeping you company.
This sweet boy is a total SNAG – a Sensitive New Age Guy. He’s thoughtful, calm, and incredibly loving, with a cheeky, playful side that pops out when he’s feeling comfortable. You’ll often catch him zooming around the house before settling himself into the comfiest spot he can find.
Merlin absolutely adores belly rubs and will roll over to invite them. When he’s excited or especially happy, he does the cutest little dribble — a sure sign that you’ve won his heart. He’s also a big fan of his toys!
He truly wouldn’t hurt a fly. Merlin has never been anything but a cuddly bug in foster care. He’s gentle-natured, respectful, and a joy to be around, making him a wonderfully easy companion.
Merlin will thrive in a calm, loving home where he can be doted on. Busy environments or very young children may be a bit overwhelming for him, but gentle, respectful kids would likely be just fine. He’s looking for a home with no other pets.
If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate, slightly chatty little shadow who will quietly steal your heart, Merlin could be your purrfect match. 💖
Medical notes
Merlin has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus but don’t let that stop you for a second!! He must be an indoor only gentleman, to protect his weaker immune system. Cats with FIV can and do live long and healthy lives when kept indoors. Regular check ups at the vet are important (just like you would with any cat or kitten).

Adoption details
When someone contacts us to apply for an animal we will send an application form to be completed. When we receive a completed application form we will share this with the foster carer to approve the applicant.
We will then organise a meet & greet with the applicant and the foster carer to meet the animal, learn about their routine, behaviours and what they eat, drink, etc.
After the meet & greet the applicant is contacted to see if they want to proceed with the application and the foster carer approves the applicant.
We will then complete paperwork, payment, and organise a time to have the animal picked up.
Animals are then adopted on a 2 week trial, during which we stay in touch and provide support for the new adopter.
Once adopted we will send through vet records & paperwork and transfer their microchip.
We offer communication and support throughout the fostering & adoption process.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
