About Millsy
Meet Millsy, a young and incredibly handsome American Staffy mix with a heart full of love and potential!
Born in November 2024, Millsy is still a pup, and over the past weeks, he has begun to reveal his true personality. Initially shy and timid in the shelter, Millsy has been steadily gaining confidence, showing that he's ready to find his special place in the world.
This sweet boy loves climbing into your lap for cuddles and pats, where he feels most secure. While Millsy displays some initial insecurities around other dogs, he shows a genuine desire to play and interact. With the guidance of a well-mannered canine friend or by being the only pup in a home that provides ample socialisation opportunities, Millsy can build the confidence he needs to blossom. He also seems relatively neutral around feline friends and, with patient introductions, could potentially coexist with them.
Millsy has a strong eagerness to learn and explore, making him an excellent companion for an active family willing to invest time in his training and socialization. He loves treats, which will be a great help in his ongoing leash training and learning processes.
Millsy is located at our Charmhaven Shelter. His $600 adoption fee covers microchipping desexing, lifetime registration, current vaccination, flea and worming treatments.
Given the right environment filled with patience, love, and plenty of opportunities for interaction, Millsy is destined to grow into the best boy he can be. If you're ready to welcome a lovely and eager pup into your family, Millsy might just be the perfect match!
