About Captain Winnie
Meet Captain Winnie - One-Eyed Wonder and Loyal First Mate
3 years old | Wat Djerring Animal Facility
Ahoy there! Meet The Captain-our brave and beautiful boy, Captain Winnie. He came into our care in rough shape, with a severely damaged eye that sadly had to be removed. But don't worry-this hasn't dulled his shine one bit. In fact, he's more dazzling than ever.
Captain Winnie is a true companion cat. He wants to be wherever you are-whether you're working, lounging, or heading to the kitchen (especially the kitchen). He'll curl up beside you like the perfect little co-pilot and keep you warm with his quiet presence.
Winnie gets nervous around other cats but loves the company of gentle humans.
Due to his fair colouring and pirate-style vision, he is strictly an indoor cat. He's still adjusting to his new circumstances and can be easily startled by loud noises or sudden movements, so he's seeking a calm, tranquil home with understanding adults who can give him the peace he deserves.
While he's not one for over-handling, The Captain has a strict belly rub policy: exactly three rubs, no more, no less. Any more, and you risk mutiny! But stick to the rules and you'll earn his trust-and maybe even his heart.
With a cosy bed, a few good snacks, and a kind soul by his side, Captain Winnie will thrive. We may not know what storms he's weathered, but we do know he's ready to drop anchor and find his forever home.
Are you ready to sail through life with The Captain?
