Meet Lorik, the charming English Cocker Spaniel who's as sweet as they come! At 4.5 years old, this dapper gentleman is ready to bring his gentle presence and loving nature into a new family that appreciates his lively, friendly personality.
With a weight of 14 kg, he's the perfect size for snuggling on the couch or joining you on outdoor adventures. Lorik thrives in the company of people and other dogs, making him an ideal companion for families with older children who understand a dog's need for patience and play.
Lorik is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and wormed, so he's ready to settle right into his new home without a hitch. While he hasn't been tested with cats, he is more than happy to make new doggy friends. His affinity for company and his natural curiosity mean he loves to be around his humans, whether he's following you around the house or lying nearby while you relax.
As a typical Cocker Spaniel, Lorik is bright-eyed and eager to learn, making training a fun and rewarding experience for both of you. He will benefit from consistent training to harness his energy and intelligence, unlocking his full potential as a well-mannered companion. His loving nature is well-suited to an environment where he can be a central part of the family's daily life.
If you're looking for a loyal friend who embodies gentle affection and companionship, Lorik is patiently waiting for you in Coorparoo, ready to make every day brighter with his playful spirit and loving heart. His adoption fee is $895, a small price for the boundless love and joy he will bring into your life.

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Hereâs some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
đ± Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the petâs bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
đŸ Details about your family
đĄ Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and youâve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee. This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
The adoption process is as follows
â
Everyone that lives in the home will meet the dog with the carer
â
We ask everyone go home again and discuss and think about overnight and contact us the next day
â
This also gives the carer a chance to think about suitability
â
Then if everyone agrees we then require a home inspection, or at least photos of the home yard and fences.
â
Then the adoption fee is paid and once that clears our account you are free to arrange with the carer to collect
â
The adoption paperwork comes out in 14 days in which time you are required to register and change chip over
