About Bert
Meet Bert, an adorable 5-month-old Jack Russell Terrier mix who's eager to find his perfect match. Full of spunk and personality, this sweet natured little guy is an absolute delight to be around, offering endless joy and companionship. Bert's bright eyes and joyful demeanor perfectly reflect his happy-go-lucky attitude.
Bert has a playful spirit and adores his toys, making him the ideal partner for interactive playtime. His social nature shines through in his interactions with other dogs, and while he's curious about cats, he might indulge in a playful chase from time to time.
As a young pup, Bert is still learning the ropes and would benefit from basic training and lead work to further enhance his behavior. His friendly, social, and outgoing nature makes him a pup full of potential, ready to shine with a little guidance and care.
Bert will do well in a home with other pets and active family members who will embrace his energetic puppy spirit. He looks forward to a new family that will shower him with love, consistency, and plenty of opportunities for play. When Bert arrived in care, he had some generalized alopecia. Treated with Demodex parasiticide and medicated wash (Malaseb)

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
