About Mia
Meet Mia – A Little Lady with a Big Heart (and a Healing One Too) 🌸
Breed: Boston Terrier X
Age: 5 years
Looking for: A loving foster home with a view to adopt (Locally, Townsville, Cairns or in between)
Mia is a sweet and soulful 5-year-old Boston Terrier mix who’s ready to start her next chapter – and all she needs is a comfy couch, a kind human, and a bit of patience as she undergoes heartworm treatment.
Despite everything she’s been through, Mia’s spirit remains gentle, affectionate, and oh-so-loyal. She loves nothing more than curling up beside her person, enjoying quiet companionship, and giving you those big puppy-dog eyes that say “thank you for seeing me.”
Mia would thrive best as the only child. She loves having all the attention and affection to herself and is happiest when she doesn’t have to share her people. She’s house-trained, quiet, and has lovely manners – a true companion dog through and through.
If you’ve got a soft spot for underdogs and a heart ready to help one heal, Mia could be your perfect match. Vet care related to her heartworm treatment is fully covered, and she’s available as a foster-to-adopt.
🩷 Sometimes the dogs who need us most are the ones who give us the most back. Mia is one of those special souls. 🩷
To apply to foster (with a view to adopt), please reach out – Mia’s forever home might be with you.
Medical notes
She has currently tested positive for heartworm however is currently receiving treatment. Treatment is fully covered by Cairns Animal Rescue
