This gorgeous greyhound is full of life and charm. Quokka is energetic and absolutely lives for his daily runs and long walks. He’ll keep you active and entertained with his joyful zest for life.
Quokka is a total character – he’ll have you smiling as he chatters his teeth when he’s excited, tosses his toys around like a goofball, and “roaches” (aka lounges belly-up) in his bed like a pro napper. He’s got a quirky streak and a whole lot of love to give.
He adores attention and pats and is incredibly sweet-natured with people. Quokka is CAT-friendly, which is a rare gem in the greyhound world! However, he can get quite excited when meeting other dogs. With some patience, training, and positive exposure, he’s learning to stay calm and polite during greetings.
Quokka would thrive in a home with people who can match his energy and appreciate his lovable quirks. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and affectionate companion who will bring joy to every day – Quokka might just be your perfect match.

Adoption details
Step 1 – Complete an application form

Step 2 – If your circumstances suit a dog, we will call you for a chat to provide you with more information about the dog and answer any questions you may have. If you wish to proceed with the adoption we will arrange a time for a Meet & Greet and a home yard inspection to ensure adequate fencing and shelter is provided for the dog.
Step 3 - A meet and greet will be held with your family and any other pets you may have. All dogs are to be met in person.
Step 4 - If all parties are happy to proceed with the adoption, the adoption fee is to be paid and you will have a 14 day trial period. If at any time in that 14 days you find you cannot keep your dog, they can be returned to R2R and the adoption fee refunded less an admin fee.
At the time of adoption you will receive an adoption pack which will include:-
- Collar & Lead
- Muzzle
- Polar Fleece Coat
- Certificate of Sterilisation
- Certificate of Vaccination
- Information on caring for your greyhound
- Worming & Flea treatment dates
- Access to our private Facebook page for R2R Adopters and volunteers
