About Layla
Meet Layla, the delightful Dachshund with a heart as big as her personality. At 8 and a half years young, Layla is looking for a loving family who can appreciate her sweet nature and provide her with a warm, nurturing environment. Initially a bit timid, Layla quickly becomes a friendly and affectionate companion once she feels comfortable in her surroundings.
Layla is a dream on the leash, making her walking escapades enjoyable for both of you. Her friendly disposition extends to other calm-natured dogs, and she seems to be quite agreeable around cats too, creating a peaceful dynamic for a home with multiple pets. Her greatest motivator is affection, and she thrives on pats, cuddles, and loving attention.
Layla has impeccable manners around the house; she enjoys nesting in her bedding and promises no mischief or destruction. She's searching for a calm and loving home, preferably with older children aged 10 and up, who can understand and appreciate her gentle demeanor.
This beautiful Dachshund is ready to become a beloved member of your family, offering loyalty, companionship, and endless affection in return. If you're looking for a devoted little friend who will warm your heart, Layla is the perfect touch of sweetness your home needs.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
