About Eros
Meet Eros, a lively and energetic 18-month-old Border Collie mix with a zest for life that's truly infectious. This outgoing and happy fellow is the epitome of canine charisma, ready to be the life of your family.
Eros thrives on activity, making him an ideal companion for those who love the outdoors and are seeking a running or hiking buddy. His days are filled with chasing balls, performing zoomies in the backyard, and basking in the sunshine. At his young age, Eros is still learning; he needs a little further basic and lead training due to his excitement. His eagerness to accompany you on walks means he might pull a bit, but with patient guidance, he’s sure to become a fantastic walking companion.
While Eros can be wary of other dogs, he's made friends successfully with proper introductions, showing promise for canine camaraderie. However, a cat-free home would be best due to his instinct to chase. An active family with children over eight years old would make the perfect setting, as younger kids may find his tendency to jump overwhelming. Eros' love for treats makes training effective and rewarding, turning potential challenges into fun activities.
Eros has a playful spirit, which sometimes extends to his environment, displaying a touch of destructiveness with his bedding. Providing him with an array of durable chew toys is essential for channeling his energy positively. With the right outlets for his liveliness, Eros will blossom into a loyal, fun-loving family member.
If you're ready to welcome an exuberant, affectionate companion into your heart and home, Eros is eager to meet you and become part of your active lifestyle.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
