About D1157 Sarge
Two year old German Shepherd, Sarge is a stunning specimen of his breed.
Having grown up around young children Sarge has a gentle, sweet nature and enjoys meeting new friends, both human and K9.
Intelligent and willing Sarge is desperate to be given purpose and direction. He has had some basic training and responds well to sit, wait and come. He is house trained and respectful of boundaries.
He has had limited experience out and about, and although he is showing great progress still needs work on lead to ensure he stays connected to his handler and doesn't get over stimulated.
Sarge enjoys playing fetch and will often greet you with a toy in his mouth. He is quiet in the yard and shows no attempts to jump fences.
He will thrive in the care of someone who understands the drive and potential that German Shepherds possess. Ideally we would like to find Sarge a home with someone who is experienced with the breed and will enjoy giving him plenty of activity, stimulation and consistency.
Sarge has a heart of gold and with a little work will be a very impressive and capable dog. Anyone interested in targeted training will find him a willing and able participant.
