Meet Cocomi – your personal welcome-home committee!

Are you looking for a dog who’s so overjoyed to see you that she literally cries with happiness when you walk through the door? Then Cocomi is your girl! Her excitement is contagious—she’ll greet you with happy tears and zoom around in joyful loops, celebrating your return like you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to her (because to her, you are!). She also has a super cute feeding routine where you have to hold her paw before she is allowed to eat (see video).

She would thrive in a home with another playful, friendly dog to help guide her and match her energy. Cocomi has the most soulful, trusting eyes and just wants to be loved. She adores zoomies, chew toys, and being part of the family action, and absolutely loves a snuggle!

Cocomi is great with dog-savvy children. Currently in foster care with two children (11 and 13) and a wonderful mentor dog, and she’s thriving in that environment.

As a young pup, she’s still learning—she’s responsive to cues and eager to please. She’s currently learning to sit and is picking things up quickly with gentle guidance. She is toilet trained and learning to tell you when she needs to go. She’ll need ongoing training and socialisation to help her grow into a confident, well-rounded adolescent dog—but with consistency and love, she’s going to make an incredible companion.
