Are you looking for the perfect pair of gentle companions? Meet Luna and Asher, two beautiful souls who come as a package of love, calm, and quiet joy.
These bonded best friends are incredibly gentle, affectionate, and easygoing. Whether you're relaxing at home or heading out for a stroll, they’ll be right by your side - content, calm, and ready to share the moment.
Luna is the bubbly heart of the pair. Affectionate, cheerful, and always eager for a walk or a cuddle on the couch. She thrives on being close to her people and will happily curl up beside you after a gentle walk around the block.
Asher, the quieter of the two, may take a little time to warm up to new people, but once she knows you, she is deeply loyal and loving. She adores Luna and always stays close to her side, offering a calm, steady presence that will melt your heart.
They’re an absolute dream to walk and will match any pace their human sets, travel beautifully in the car, and are fully house trained. They’re perfectly content to be left alone during the day and are non-destructive, spending their time napping peacefully.
Contrary to what you might think of greyhounds, they really don’t need much to thrive - just a simple daily routine, a 30-minute walk, and a cozy spot in the sun or beside you on the lounge - making them ideal dogs for most households.
While they’re dog-friendly, Luna and Asher prefer the company of calm, larger dogs over high-energy puppies or smaller breeds. They’re not fans of stairs or tight spaces (like doggy doors), so some further encouragement in these areas would see them thrive further.
Both girls will benefit from continuing a healthy diet to support their wellness and dental health as they age, but overall, they are low-maintenance, sweet-natured companions who will bring so much love and warmth to their new home.

Luna and Asher are in foster care in Maitland, NSW, and are available for adoption interstate. Their adoption fee is $500 and they are desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
