About Blaze
In foster care in Alexandria, Sydney
Blaze is a big softie in every sense — the largest of his litter, with a chunky build, plush medium-length ginger and white coat, and an extra-fluffy tail that hints at some possible Maine Coon or Forest Cat-style fluff genes in the mix. We can’t promise any breed credentials, but he’s got the luxurious coat and gentle giant energy to match.
This chunky ginger-and-white boy loves his food almost as much as he loves a good nap, and he’s often found snoozing in the most ridiculous positions (think: back paws in the bed, front half flopped dramatically off the side). With a sweet rumbly purr and a calm, independent streak, Blaze is the kind of kitten who’ll wrestle and play with the best of them, then happily take himself off for a solo nap when he’s had enough.
He’s a bit of a lone wolf compared to his cuddly siblings, but don’t let that fool you—he’s still as affectionate and loving as they come. His unusual eye (a harmless cosmetic quirk where his third eyelid is slightly visible) only adds to his unique charm and gives him a constant look of mild, sleepy surprise. Blaze is curious, sweet, and will thrive in a home where he’s given time to settle and the freedom to be his relaxed, occasionally ridiculous self.
Like all Maggie’s pets, Blaze is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I’d love a home that understands I like a bit of space sometimes—but I’m also happy in a cuddle pile when the mood strikes!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I’ve got classic kitten energy with a laid-back twist—play hard, nap harder.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I’ll need some time to adjust to noisy or busy homes, but I’m a flexible guy and can adapt with patience.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I live well with other cats. I haven’t met any dogs yet, so slow introductions would be best.
Medical notes
Blaze’s third eyelid is visible on one eye due to an eyelid adhesion. It is cosmetic only.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
