Hi, I’m Chive
Life didn’t start out easy for me and my sibling—we were found fending for ourselves, just little ones trying to survive. Luckily, a kind-hearted person stepped in, gave us safety and care, and helped us find our way to Silver Linings Rescue.
Now in foster care, I’m thriving! I’ve had all my vet work done, and I’m feeling great—healthy, playful, and ready to start my new chapter in a loving forever home.
I can be a little shy to start, but once I feel safe, I’m a total sweetheart. I’m curious, cuddly, and love to explore my surroundings (especially if there are toys involved!).

Adoption details
Adoption Process
Once you have decided you would like to meet or apply for one of our pets, we email out our Adoption Application. We ask that the Adoption Process be read and if comfortable with how we adopt, complete the application and email it back for processing. This takes approximately 5-7 days. If approved the pet will come for a 6 week trial for cats and 3 week trial for dogs . We believe it takes that long for a pet to settle. If all goes well during the trial and you wish to finalise the adoption we email all vet certificates and change of microchip forms. We believe in matching the right pet with the right home so your application does not guarantee an approval.
