Suzy came into care with her babies in tow after sadly running out of time in a high-kill pound. Now just 10–11 months old herself, this sweet girl was still a baby — forced to grow up far too fast. With such an uncertain start to life, it’s no surprise Suzy is still quite shy and reserved around new people. She’s never truly had someone she could rely on… but we’re hoping that’s about to change. 🙏🏼💞

Despite her timid nature, Suzy is an incredibly soft, gentle soul just waiting for someone to be her safe place. Once she feels secure, she’ll greet you with a soft meow, rub up against your legs, and melt into affection. She’s the ultimate lap cat — floppy, cuddly, and more than happy to be carried around like a baby. 🩷

While she’s still cautious, Suzy is starting to show glimpses of playful curiosity in her foster home. With time, patience, and a calm environment, there’s no doubt she’ll continue to blossom into a loyal, loving companion. Her gorgeous, thick grey coat only adds to her charm. 🐾

Suzy’s response to fear is to freeze and hide, never to lash out — so a quiet, understanding home is essential. She’ll thrive best with someone who can offer gentle reassurance and allow her to come out of her shell at her own pace. In return, she’ll be the sweetest little shadow, always nearby to keep you company. 🙏🏼💞
