Lotus

Lotus is a sweet, affectionate cat who forms a truly special bond with her
people. Once she knows you’re someone she can trust, she’ll shower you with
love and companionship that lasts a lifetime.

This gorgeous girl was found heavily pregnant by a kind stranger, who reached
out to Maggie’s Rescue for help. Not much more than a kitten herself, Lotus
gave birth to four beautiful babies and proved herself to be a devoted and
gentle mum. Now that her kittens have flown the nest, it’s Lotus’s turn to find
her forever family.

Affectionate and intelligent, Lotus adores pats and loves to show off her playful
side, chasing feather toys, shadows, and the occasional fly! She’s a clever girl
who already knows the sit command and is learning to spin. With a patient and
loving owner, there’s no limit to what she could learn. Independent, funny,
snuggly, and sweet — Lotus is truly purrfection on four paws.

Like all Maggie’s pets, Lotus is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I’d love a calm, loving home with a wonderful single person
or couple who’ll give me time and space to settle in. Once I feel comfortable, I
absolutely adore human company — especially when pats and playtime are
involved! I’m not big on being held, but I’ll happily spend hours near you,
chatting and soaking up attention. I’m also a curious explorer, so I’d love a safe
outdoor space where I can sunbathe and sniff around.

MY ENERGY LEVEL: Just about perfect! I love a good snooze (especially on a
soft blanket), but when I’m awake, I’m playful and full of beans. You’ll find me
zooming through tunnels, exploring secret spots, and inventing new games with
my toys.

MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I’m not too fond of loud noises, so I’d be
happiest in a home with older, respectful kids who understand that I sometimes
like a bit of quiet time.

MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I might enjoy the company of another
calm cat, but I’d need a gentle introduction to be sure. Dogs are probably a bit
too energetic for me.
