🐾 Meet Dixie – Sweet, Calm, and Ready to Shine! 🐾

Dixie is a beautiful, gentle greyhound who’s settling into pet life with ease. She’s calm, happy, and always ready for a cuddle or a snack. Dixie currently lives with another greyhound and enjoys the company — she hasn’t spent much time alone, so she may prefer a home with another dog or someone around often.

She walks well on lead, though she can zigzag when excited by smells, with calm introductions, she does well with dogs of all sizes. She hasn’t met children yet, but 6+ years and respectful kids would be best, as she’s calm except at mealtimes when enthusiasm kicks in.

Dixie is fully toilet trained and sleeps through the night. She’s still learning how to do stairs and jump into the car, but she’s making steady progress. She could suit an apartment with continued stair training, though she does love a sunbake in the backyard!

She’s affectionate, food-motivated, and always up for meeting new people — even at the vet! With a bit of ongoing guidance, Dixie will be a truly wonderful companion. 💕
