About Eli

Eli is a sweet, soft-natured older gentleman who is mostly blind, but still very much enjoys life. He’s affectionate, cuddly, and loves belly rubs and lap time. He wears a halo during the day to help him navigate without bumping into things, and he’s been adapting really well.

He thrives in a calm, consistent environment where things stay in the same place (bed, food, water) so he can find his way with confidence. Eli loves physical affection and just being near his people. He does best with lots of reassurance and stimulation, like lick mats and Kongs.

Humans who are home most of the time – Eli is happiest with company and may have accidents if left alone too long.
No long walks required – Eli enjoys gentle strolls to sniff and ponder.
Kind, patient owners who will understand his needs and provide structure, warmth, and affection.

Eli is toilet trained with supervision—cold mornings and a history of trauma have made him a little hesitant to go outside at times, but positive reinforcement and encouragement are working wonders. This boy will reward your love with loyalty, laughs, cuddles, and the joy of giving an older souls the life he truly deserves.
