About Russell
Russell is the sweetest, most affectionate boy you could hope to meet. This gorgeous greyhound absolutely loves leaning into his humans for a cuddle — in fact, affection is his favourite thing, even if it’s the first time he’s met you. He’s a total smoocher who just wants to be close.
Russell has impeccable house manners and is completely house-trained. He’s happiest indoors, enjoying the comforts of home and the company of his people. He’s a calm, easy-going boy who loves to lounge around with the resident greyhound and little corgi x whippet in his foster home.
He enjoys his daily walks and is a dream on the lead. Russell is friendly and polite when meeting other dogs, from tiny chihuahuas through to labradors and fellow greyhounds.
Russell has been left at home indoors with the other dogs while his foster carers are at work and has been perfectly well-behaved. He’s also lived happily with a toddler and a teenager.
Russell would suit most home environments, including families with dog companions. He’s very much an indoor dog at heart and will thrive in a home where he gets the love, affection, and company he deserves.
If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion who’s more about snuggles than speed, Russell could be the perfect match.
Medical: Russell has hypothyroidism, which is easily managed with daily medication. He also has a chicken allergy, so he’ll need a chicken-free diet — something his foster carers have found simple to manage. His new family will just need to continue supporting him with these easy routines.
Medical notes
Russell is desexed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations and parasite control.
