She is a beautiful Kelpie with a heart full of potential and a whole lot of love to give. Life hasn't been easy for her so far, but this resilient girl is ready to find a home where she can truly blossom. She's a curious, sweet natured soul who, with a gentle approach, lets her lovable, endearing personality shine and she has a special fondness for her toys (she even tucks them into bed with her at night for company!). Maya will thrive as the only dog in a calm, experienced household with older kids/adults, where she can explore a secure backyard at her own pace and soak up all the love and attention to herself. Maya does have some manageable medical needs, but she is every bit worth it! True to her clever Kelpie nature, she's quick to learn and would absolutely enjoy daily enrichment to keep her mind busy and her spirit happy. Think puzzle feeders, sniffy walks, training games, and plenty of playtime with her beloved toys!
