Looking for a sweet, playful, and low-key companion to bring a little extra joy to your home? Max might just be your perfect match!
Max has come such a long way since arriving in care. When he first joined us, he was quite shy and unsure of the world—but with patience, love, and a calm environment, he’s really opened up. These days, you’ll often find him stretched out on the bed, soaking up the sun or curled up nearby enjoying your company. He now welcomes gentle pats and is growing more affectionate by the day.
He’s also hilariously playful—one of his favorite things is to race around the house doing his own little zoomie laps! He’s a quiet entertainer, and you can’t help but smile watching him enjoy his freedom and confidence. He’s still discovering just how wonderful life can be, and it’s been such a joy to watch him slowly trust and love again.
Max lives peacefully with four other cats and gets along beautifully with them, so if you already have feline friends, he’ll fit right in. While he hasn’t been tested with dogs, his calm and cruisey nature makes us think he’d do just fine with a slow, respectful introduction. He’s also shown he’s okay with kids and is generally a go-with-the-flow kind of guy.
Max is:
✔️ Cat friendly
✔️ Dog friendly (untested, but very chill)
✔️ Child friendly
✔️ Vaccinated, microchipped & desexed
✔️ Litter trained
✔️ Treated for flea & worm prevention
✔️ Independent, but growing more cuddly every day
What Max needs most is a calm, loving home where he can continue to come out of his shell and bond with his people. He’s already shown us how brave and loving he can be—and we know with time, he’s going to make someone an incredibly loyal and affectionate companion.
💖 If you’ve got patience, love, and maybe a sunny spot on the couch to share, Max is ready to meet you. This beautiful boy has a big heart—and he’s just waiting for the right person to share it with.

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process
Initial Contact & Questionnaire
We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
Video Tour
We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer
Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home
In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet! Adoption paperwork will follow.
Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation
Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
