Meet Greg – The Laid-Back Lovebug!

Greg is a stunning black greyhound with a happy, healthy spirit and a calm, easygoing nature. This charming boy is well-mannered, clean, and polite around the home. He adores his people and is happiest when he's by your side.

While relaxed at home, Greg gets excited for his daily walk and meeting new faces – he’s a friendly guy who just enjoys being out and about. He walks best in quieter streets away from crowds and settles into a nice 20–30 minute stroll once or twice a day.

Greg loves spending time with his humans, whether it's sharing a cuddle or curling up for a nap. He’s adaptable, charismatic, and fits easily into a routine. He also sleeps beautifully in a crate and gets along well with his foster greyhound siblings.

Greg is still getting used to indoor life and is slowly gaining confidence with new surfaces – vinyl floors are still a bit tricky for him, but his adorable little grip socks are helping him feel much more secure.

Important things to know:

Greg needs slow, calm introductions to other dogs
He’s not suited to homes with cats, small dogs or animals
He would thrive as the only pet in the home or with another larger breed
As with all deep-chested breeds, he shouldn’t be exercised for a couple of hours after eating
