Hi, my name is Marlee! I’m a 4yr old sweet little red and tan Kelpie girl.

I’ve got brains, beauty, and a whole lot of energy packed into this gorgeous body of mine! I’m young, active, and happiest when I’m out running, playing fetch (kind of—I prefer you do the fetching), or going for a walk.

I’m a gentle soul who loves being around people. I’ve lived happily with teenagers, and I’m kind-natured, though I haven’t had much experience with little kids just yet. I absolutely adore chasing a ball or frisbee. I’ve warmed up to the dog in my foster home, and now we’ve started playing together. I’m calm and non-reactive when meeting new dogs, and happy to just do my own thing.

I’ve already learned my name and know how to sit and wait patiently for my dinner. I get pretty excited when the lead comes out and might pull a little at first, but I settle quickly and walk nicely once we’re on our way. I sleep quietly inside at night, I am toilet trained and have lovely house manners. I love being off leash at a park or beach but never stray far from my owner and always come back happily with a call or a whistle.

I’m a very affectionate girl who just wants to be part of a family. I’d love a home with a big yard, someone who enjoys being outdoors, and a family who’ll keep my body and brain busy every day. I’d be happiest as your one-and-only dog, or with a calm companion who respects my space.
