About Sprout
Calling all lovers of underdogs (or should we say under-dachshunds?) – meet Sprout, an 8-week-old pocket rocket with legs the size of matchsticks and a heart bigger than his whole body!
Sprout may be little, but this wiggly warrior has already tackled more than most pups do in a lifetime. He’s been diagnosed with Oesophageal Dysmotility – which basically means his food pipe is a bit of a drama queen and doesn’t always get things moving the way it should. But don’t worry, with the right feeding setup and some TLC, Sprout manages just fine. He just needs a human who’s cool with doing mealtime a little differently – think “fine dining in an upright position” (yes, he may need a highchair, and yes, it’s as cute as it sounds).
✨ Sprout's Stats:
Belly rub enthusiast
Champion napper
Food-loving, despite his fussy plumbing
Small in size, massive in personality
He’s looking for a home that’s not afraid of a bit of quirk, has patience, and is ready to fall head over heels for a low-riding love bug with some special needs and oodles of charm.
Sprout’s motto? Why fit in when you were born to stand out (and eat standing up)?
Think you’re the peanut butter to Sprout’s jelly? Apply now – this sausage won’t stay on the shelf for long! 🌭💚
Medical notes
Oesophageal Dysmotility - Meaning he needs to be feed sitting upright
