About Basil
All About Me and My Unique Personality:
Basil is a playful boy with a curious spirit. He loves to explore and zoom around the house, always ready for a game of chase with his favourite cat teaser toy. Basil enjoys following you from room to room, watching what you’re up to and keeping you company. He’ll often nap nearby and happily accept pats. At bedtime he will find him curl up on your bed.
During the day, you’ll usually find him perched up on the cat tower, dozing in the sun. He loves the occasional treat (freeze-dried sardines are a favourite!) and will meow to let you know when he’s ready to play. Friendly, silly, and full of personality, Basil is a lovable little companion who brings joy to every corner of the home.
My Ideal Home:
Basil would thrive in an indoor home with plenty of room to play and explore. He enjoys human company and being involved in your day, but also values having the freedom to do his own thing when he needs space. Basil would be happy as an only cat but could also settle well with a feline friend. While he may take a few days to come out of his shell in a new environment, once he feels safe, his sweet and playful nature really shines through.
What is Known About My Background:
Basil and his 2 siblings were sadly found abandoned in cardboard boxes at Belmont PetQuarters as babies. They were looked after by store staff before going into foster care at 6 months old.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
Basil spent the first six months of his life living with his siblings, so he’s comfortable around other cats but hasn’t had any experience with dogs or other types of pets.
