Milo

Every once in a while, a dog comes along who just steals your heart.
Even though he has been through hell, Milo’s capacity for love knows no bounds.
This beautiful, 1 year old baby was picked up as a stray in an Outback QLD town. He was with his doggie mum and dad and another pup and they all landed in the pound. Thankfully, their human family came to get them and bring them home but heartbreakingly, they left Milo behind.
Locked in a cold concrete cell, Milo heard his family leave. He cried for them to come back for him but their footsteps got further and further away.
Their reason for not taking the dog that they had bred? Their reason for taking his parents and leaving him behind? Milo is blind!
Backyard breeding and bad genetics meant that Milo was visually impaired. Tossed aside like garbage, his little life deemed worthless, and he was left to the roulette wheel that is the pound system.
Thankfully, we were contacted, and Milo was saved, and he has stolen the heart of everyone who has met him.
Despite his challenges, Milo is a champion! He is super friendly, loves other animals and is great with people of all ages. He is the quintessential lap dog and if you ask him about his life, he will cry in your ear and tell you all his woes.
Milo would do best in a home without stairs. He needs to have someone home the majority of the time as he can stress without his humans which is understandable with what he has been through.
Milo is very soft natured. He is gentle and kind and loving. He navigates his world well, once he knows where everything is and he loves to snuggle.
