Gorgeous little Macey is a gentle soul with a heart of gold who does not have a mean bone in her body.

Sadly Macey was on a list of cats due to be put down at a shelter due to being timid but luckily, thanks to some amazing people, we were able to get her out of there and she's now living the good life with her new foster family.

Macey was very timid when she first arrived, as she had not had much contact with humans up until that point, but with patience and love she has started to find her confidence and is blossoming into a beautiful little angel.

She is still quite shy but is growing in confidence every day.

Macey enjoys hanging out and playing with the other cats in the household but is still a little unsure around people. She will happily come and go around you and will sit and watch what you are doing but will dart away if you approach her suddenly.

Her foster mum has been able to pat her but only when she's in the mood.

As a young lady she is full of energy so playing with a wand to may just be the way to her heart.

We would love to find her a nice quiet home, with an experienced cat owner, who is happy to give her the time she needs to come out of her shell and let her beautiful personality begin to shine through.

We are certain that in time her lucky new owners will find themselves with a sweet and affectionate little lady on their hands. -

Macey is approximately 7 months old and has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and is available for adoption right meow.

A little about us:

Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.

Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.

We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
