About Ginny - 6 Month Old Dachshund X Border Collie
Meet Ginny!
Ginny is a 6 month old Dachshund X Collie, who is so excited for what the future will bring for her!!
Despite Ginny’s harsh beginnings in life, she is so full of happiness and joy and hope for her future.
She has loved living with her foster Staffy brother, and would benefit from a home with another dog to help show her the ropes.
Ginny is still a puppy, so can be quite jumpy and a little bit nippy at times. She will need continued training to help her with better ways to deal with her excitement! Due to this, she is only suitable for families with children 6 years and above.
Ginny loves to go for walks, and when she gets really excited she does zoomies round the house! But this friendly little firecracker isn’t all energy and craziness. Ginny also loves to curl up on the couch for a cuddle, and likes snuggling up close for lots of pats and attention after a hard day of running around having fun.
Ginny is working hard on her manners when walking on leash, and is getting better everyday with her toilet training. Ginny knows her name, and can sit on command. She is generally quite polite around food, but can sneak the occasional chip off a plate left on the coffee table.
She hasn’t been exposed to cats, pocket pets or birds so is not suitable for a home with these animal companions.
What Ginny needs in a home:
* Kids 6 years and over
* Someone committed to training her
* Secure fencing
* A doggy playmate if possible
* No cats, pocket pets or birds
Why you’ll LOVE Ginny:
* Friendly, happy and cheeky girl
* Knows her name and how to sit!
* Dog friendly!!
* Okay for full time workers (if she has a playmate)
* Loves a cuddle
* Very people social
Her adoption fee is $1100. Ginny is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and up to date on flea, worm and tick treatments. She is in care in Newcastle area, NSW, and available for adoption in NSW, QLD, ACT and VIC.
