Meet Max, a confident and affectionate senior gentleman who knows exactly what he wants-and isn't shy about letting you know. He's low-energy but can be high-arousal, meaning he loves pats and attention, but will clearly signal when he's had enough. Reading cat body language is key with Max, and he'll appreciate a home that respects his boundaries.

Max has lived peacefully with a small dog before, though he sometimes wanted to play a little rough. He's also cohabited with another cat, and while they needed time to "sort things out," they did eventually settle-so slow, careful introductions with another feline may be possible.

He's not too fussed about toys and prefers human company and chill vibes. Because of his sensitivity to overstimulation, a home with older children who understand feline behaviour would suit him best.
