About Pistachio STA014018
Say hello to Pistachio, the enchanting feline with a shiny black coat and mesmerizing big green eyes. This lovely lady is the perfect blend of beauty and poise, promising to bring a touch of elegance to your home.
Pistachio has a friendly demeanor but can be a little hesitant at times, especially when faced with a new environment. She's independent and prefers having all four paws firmly on the ground, so she's not one for being picked up. What Pistachio loves most is having a safe place she can call her own, where she can feel calm and secure as she adjusts to the rhythms of her new home. Given time, she will warm up to her new family at her own pace, revealing her sweet and gentle nature.
Once she's settled in, Pistachio will become a cherished companion, ready to share quiet moments and the simple joys of everyday life. She's a perfect match for someone who appreciates the subtle and graceful presence a cat can bring, and who understands that sometimes the best relationships are built on patience and trust. If you're ready to welcome a timeless beauty into your life, Pistachio would love to become a cherished member of your family.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
