About Jack - 2 Year Old Plott Hound
🤎MEET JACK🤎
Jack is a 2 year old Plott Hound who is on the lookout for a couch to curl up in for the rest of his life, and a human companion to give him endless cuddles!!
Unfortunately, no matter how comfortable we make Jack at the shelter, he is not coping very well and urgently needs the comfort and warmth of a home environment.
Jack loves snuggles and is very affectionate and loyal. He is a gentle and quiet boy who walks well on lead and has had positive interactions with other dogs during his time at the shelter.
He is looking for a quiet and slow paced life, and would benefit from a home where someone can keep him company.
We don't know how Jack would react around cats, so a home without them is best. He would be okay with an older calm companion dog to show him the ropes.
At the moment Jack needs a home where there are no children.
Jack is fully toilet trained, desexed, flea and worm treated and vaccinated.
Jack requires an experienced and understanding person to help him with his anxiety and fearfulness of the world.
Jack Summary:
🤎Loves cuddles
🤎Okay by himself
🤎Toilet trained
🤎Would benefit with the support of an older calm dog to show him the ropes
🤎Needs secure fencing
🤎No cats or pocket pets
🤎Timid and fearful, so needs support!
Jack is in care in Fullerton Cove, NSW. He is available for adoption to NSW, ACT, VIC & QLD. His adoption fee is $600, and he is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and treated for fleas, worms and ticks.
