About Jack
Jack is a very friendly dog once he settles in and gets to know you, he is still quite timid and unsure about a lot of things at times He needs constant reassurance and absolutely loves to be right beside you all of the time.
He is learning to be more independent in himself but still struggles when left alone for long periods of time. For this reason I feel Jack would be more suited to a home with someone home more often than not.
He gets along well with other dogs although at food time gets a bit aggressive so has to get fed separately. Although we do not have cats he fits right in with two other sausages and a huge Great Dane. He will sleep in a crate at night but I feel he would love someone who will let him sleep on the bed. He isn’t house trained yet so there will be a few accidents and he does like to mark his territory but I feel once he settles in all of this will stop and making sure he gets outside regularly.
Jack spends his days coming to work with me on a horse property. So he is getting exposed to all life but I feel he would really blossom with someone who works from home and can always keep an eye on him and he can keep an eye on you. He loves to go out on walks and will quite happily walk with you and his little friends.
He’s not a picky eater and will eat pretty much anything you put in front of him. He doesn’t get car sick. Happy to either sit in a crate or just sit on the seat.
