Meet Putty or Putt Putt, A Three Legged Treasure Looking for Love

Hi, I’m Putty, a fluffy domestic medium haired ginger gentleman, aged 14, with more charm than most cats half my age! The vet says I’m incredibly healthy and even gave me a gold star for my excellent teeth (not bad for a senior citizen, right?).

When I was just a curious one year old, I had a run in with a fox trap and lost a front leg. But don’t feel sorry for me, I do everything a regular cat does! I’m litter trained, can hop on the bed, cruise up and down stairs, and love a good cuddle. And don’t worry I won’t be doing any acrobatics onto your kitchen counter or dining table. I’m far too dignified (and, well… three legged).

Since moving in with my lovely foster parents, I’ve been vaccinated, microchipped, bathed, and brushed so now I’m extra soft, fluffy, and ready for my glow up. I adore long naps, gentle pats, and I purr like a little engine. Honestly, my hobbies include: napping in sunbeams, looking majestic, and loving you endlessly. I do need a bit of help with brushing now and then especially on one side where I can’t quite reach to groom myself (you try doing it with three legs!). A little brush here and there keeps my majestic fur knot free and fabulous. I’m quite the chatterbox, if you talk to me, I’ll talk right back! I love a good conversation!

There are two other cats in the house. I’m okay with them, though I think they’re still trying to figure out how someone can look this good on three legs. I’m patient they’ll come around. I’m low maintenance, full of love, and I’m ready to spend my golden years being spoiled like I deserve. My foster parents said they’ll help with my relocation and anything I need to get settled in. So if you’re looking for a sweet, scruffy, sunshine loving purr machine to melt your heart I’m your guy. Give my foster mum a call and come meet me I promise you won’t leave without falling in love.

Putty is in foster care in Wallsend, NSW. His adoption fee is $50, and he is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, and treated for fleas and worms.
