About Grendel
Meet Grendel – A Big Softie With a Bigger Heart
Grendel is a gentle giant with a sweet nature and a lovable stubborn streak. Now in foster care with a caring family, he's making great progress and showing just how eager he is to please.
This handsome boy is thriving with some structure, having already picked up sit, down, and touch in just a few days. He clearly missed out on training and attention in the past—but with a little guidance (and some cheese!), he’s becoming a brilliant companion.
Grendel would benefit from a home with another friendly dog or someone who works part time and has time to spend with him. He’s learning the ropes quickly and responds well to gentle encouragement—especially when snacks are involved. Like his brother, he does occasionally go into “statue mode” when he’s not keen to move… but cheese seems to work like magic.
If you’re ready to meet this big sweetheart, send in an adoption application and we’ll arrange a meet and greet. Fostering means we know his personality well, and we’re confident he’s ready to bring joy and love to the right home.
