About George
Meet George - The Curious Ginger Cat!
Age: 2 years | Desexed Male | Full of mischief, muscle, and heart
Once upon a time, in a cozy little foster home, there lived a curious cat named George. George was a handsome ginger tom with a big heart, bright eyes, and a whiskered grin that could charm the socks off a dog lover.
But George wasn't just any cat-no sir! George was curious, courageous, and always ready for a bit of good-natured chaos.
Every day is an adventure:
🧺 What's in that laundry basket?
📦 Can I wedge myself in this suspiciously small box?
🐾 Oh look-a fellow feline! Let's wrestle!
George loves a good rough-and-tumble with his cat pals-not in an aggressive way, mind you, but with the joyful, energetic spirit of a kitty who sees life as one big play session. He's got that "go-and-get-'em" attitude, rolling into every day like it's his personal jungle safari.
George is:
Playful, bold, and endlessly curious
Great with other playful cats who enjoy a bit of wrestling and tag
Gentle with humans, but full of fun-loving mischief
He's not here to lounge around all day (well, maybe after lunch). He's here to explore, to engage, and to love you boldly-whiskers-first and paws ready.
Adopt Curious George the Cat-because life's more fun when you chase it head-on. 🧡🐾

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
