URGENT: Help Needed for Townsville's Cat Crisis

Townsville is currently facing a cat crisis. It is estimated that 30 cats are euthanized every day due to a lack of space in our shelters—over 10,000 cats annually. The local animal shelter is at capacity, and local rescue groups are reluctant to take in cats older than six months due to difficulties in rehoming adult cats. We’re happy to help arrange interstate transport if needed—adopter would just need to cover the costs.

Bumpy had a rough start in life – found all alone and abandoned – but you’d never know it from his sweet, trusting nature. He’s taken everything in stride, showing nothing but affection and calm curiosity about the world. He’s not the kind of kitten to climb your curtains or cause chaos; instead, he’s the perfect blend of playful and peaceful, making him a joy to have around.
