About Betty - 8 Week Old Dachshund
Introducing Betty, an adorable 8 week old dachshund with a heart full of love and a nose for adventure. This little lady is as sweet as they come, with a playful spirit and a gentle nature. Betty is sure to steal your heart and become your most loyal little shadow.
She’ll benefit from ongoing training, lots of affection, and a warm lap to curl up on when the day is done.
Due to her breed, Betty will need a home with minimal to no stairs to protect her long back as she grows, as well as kids over 8 years old. She needs a secure yard where she can sniff, explore, and burn off her puppy energy. She’d would also love to have a doggy playmate to keep her company.
She’ll benefit from someone with a good understanding of the dachshund breed and dedication to enrichment, exercise and socialisation.
Please only apply if you meet the above requirements.
Her adoption fee is $1300, which includes desexing when she is old enough. She has had her first vaccination, is treated for fleas, ticks and worms and is microchipped.
Betty is in foster carer in Singleton, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when 6 months old.
To apply to meet Betty, please fill out our Adoption Questionnaire: https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
